Via Crucis undewater museum, beach and aqua park is an enthusiastic private project and a brand of company Blue Nautica from Trogir, Croatia.
Who and what is Blue Nautica?
We, the Blue Nautica are a company from Trogir, Croatia specialized in motorboat rental & diving services and much more. Within the broad scope of our services, we operate a charter fleet of newer, professionally maintained and high-quality boats from renowned boat manufacturers and a professional scuba school with an interesting Discovery diving package for beginners or experienced divers and all the NEW offer - diving in our own & 1st Croatian underwater museum!
We are a team of enthusiastic professionals who are completely addicted to adrenaline and are fully and passionately committed to their work. We are truly in love with the sea and in everything connected with the sea.
Via Crucis underwater museum - A UNIQUE UNDERWATER STORY!
With a constant focus on improving and expanding our tourist offer, we have decided to realize our idea of setting up all the 14 Stations of the Cross on the seabed.
The project realized as such is not known anywhere in the world. Never before has anyone presented or realized the idea of setting the Stations of the Cross under the sea.
The location of our Via crucis, underwater museum, all the new tourist attraction is in the beautiful Jelinak bay near the historic city of Trogir, Croatia.
The permanent underwater museum setup consists of all the 14 Stations of the Cross with 52 life-size statues and additionally a large 8-meter tall statue of Jesus Christ in the form of the 15th Station. The statues are set on the seabed at a small depth of only 4-5 meters and the large 8 meters tall statue of Jesus Christ is placed at a depth of 10 meters. In this way scuba diving is adapted to all, as to the experienced divers, as well as to the very beginners, to those who have never experienced the stunning landscapes of the sea depths. All the statues are eco-friendly, handmade of concrete by a ferrocement technique.
